Protect & Enhancing Urban Water Resources
The City of Vancouver is working to protect and enhance the quality of our urban water resources, improve wastewater service and eliminate environmental health problems. The Sewer Connection Incentive Program (SCIP) was developed to help eliminate water quality and service problems from failing septic systems by replacing them with safe, public sanitary sewers.
Let Nate’s Plumbing help you navigate the program for a pain free transition from Septic to Sewer.
Regular Drain & Sewer Cleaning
Your sewer lines are hidden; therefore, it’s hard to recognize when and if there’s a problem. This makes it even more important that you have some knowledge about what signs to look if you want to prevent a potential disaster, and quite possibly, higher repair or replacement costs.
Our talented professionals are well experienced in handling drains and sewers efficiently. At Nate’s Plumbing Inc., we also use advanced camera service for inspecting and detecting any blockages of dirt and other particles.
Hydro Jet Service
Hydro-Jetting consists of a high-pressure hose with a specialized nozzle connected to a machine that pressurizes the water, producing a powerful stream that clears the drain. Hydro-Jetting is usually done through a clean-out, which is an opening that allows plumbers to clean out clogs. The water is forced down the drain, where it pushes grease, mineral build-up, hair and other debris through the drain. With a powerful enough Hydro-Jet, tree roots can also be broken up. However, before using a Hydro-Jet, a plumber typically inspects the drain with a small camera to determine if the pipe is damaged.
Hydro-Jetting is known as one of the most effective ways to clean out pipe blockages. This is done by utilizing a continuous blast of high pressure water through a hose that is pushed down a drain line. Water is forced out up to 60,000 psi. While there are alternatives such as snaking out a clog, hydro jetting does a more thorough job. This is because hydro jetting cleans the entire diameter of the pipe.
