Get that perfect water line for your home or your commercial space with the assistance of technicians at Nate’s Plumbing Inc. Your water line should ideally have a smooth flow of clean water without any obstructions from impurities and other solid particles.
Nate’s Plumbing replaces over 300 water lines per year and completes the majority of those water lines with minimal damage to your landscape. We accomplish this by using a directional boring machine to place the new water line in the ground. Nate’s was the first plumber (according to Ditch Witch) to use a directional boring machine to install a water line.
The process is relatively simple. The crew arrives on site, turns the water off at the water meter and hydro excavates around the water meter. Hydro excavation creates a neat and tidy hole with no mess in the yard. The crew then uses the boring machine to bore a tunnel from the water meter to where your new water line will be connected to the water pipes that feed water into the house (typically in the crawl space of the house). After they’ve bored a tunnel between those two locations a water pipe sleeve (a pipe slightly larger than the water pipe itself) is then pulled back, with the boring machine, from the house to the water meter location. When that sleeve is in place, the actual water pipe is then fed through the sleeve and connected to the water meter on one end and to the house water pipes on the other, the water is then turned back on at the meter and the house has water again! The entire process takes approximately 4 hours and can typically be done at any time of the year.
